Just wondering hopefully I'll get me game tomorrow, anyone interested in having an online game if it works tomorrow night? Thats if I have got a decent car by then.
Can't set up online races, its all random bs.

on a side note where about in york are you from ?
tuned version of the lotus elise pretty much owns every other car...(apart from the f1 im guessing...havent bothered saving up for that one yet to try it).
you would need to make some adjustments to the setup to make it perform.

Tried that, didn't seem to help much.
So went to my Mum's and retrieved my PS2 Wheel (Driving Force) from storage. Did it second time out - it's a lot more intuitive than I was expecting.
Getting a little bored with GT5, I cant complete A class without saving for a Ferrari, which is about 200k more cash than I have and Im just repeating races over and over again (even the few Dealership races I can actually enter)
I know I can sell most of my cars, but I reckon I will have to buy them back later so this seems a little pointless
I just wish the cars cost a little less or the races where worth more preportionally thats all

Go online. If you're any good you'll get the money in a couple of hours. I pounded round the high speed ring and was solidly in the top three. 12 players nets you a good 7 or 8k for two laps.
Well I'm actually near selby, about 10.6 miles, I cycle a lot to york as I go to college there.
Mmm the Audi is such a stunning car. This has to be my favourite car now.

Thats what drives me mad with it i had to buy the F40 for 445k, i will win something like 30k for the race, they really should have made the races you have to buy specific cars for worth more.
I am sure when i did the A class(most of them) i used the ford gt, still use it now in S class a lot.

Must say I'm getting pretty bored of this too, I've done a couple of races in S Class but I absolutely detest doing races purely in order to be able to buy a new car in order to do a new race. GT games have always had this problem, Forza 2 suffered from it a little but nowhere near to this extent :/
As lame as it is, I was seriously thinking of just downloading a gamesave that already has the F1 car unlocked.

It's not the challenge of the races though though, just the tedious nature of 'progressing'.
Boredom is beating me, not the game
