Will GT5 have damage?
Yes, Polyphony Digital is working on a patch for Prologue to include damage modelling, slated for autumn-end of the year. The full game will obviously come with it at release.

Are the servers down at the moment? Im trying to update gt5 on a 60gb ps3 but it fails after a minute. Seems to download other stuff fine though
It's notoriously fickle and buggy - keep trying. A lot of people eventually got theirs after about ten tries or so.

Dam, I gave up after a few trys. I installed and updated fold@home first go so I guess its not router settings or anything. I'll try again later, how big is the update file
ok I think I must be missing something - please enlighten me ...
I have both PS3 and XBOX 360 .. bought GT5 about 6 weeks ago ... and really struggling with it. Put on Forza 2 tonight on the 360 and it just feels so much better
(1) whats with the sounds in GT5 ? I have a decent setup and they all seem to sound like lawn-mowers ? very poor. In Forza 2 Ferraris sound like Ferraris
(2) where are the amazing physics ? again - it just doesn't feel right - when drifting etc
(3) sense of speed is appauling - just feels slow
graphics are good though
so what am I missing?

Can someone tell me how to get the savegame to work please. Ive tried doing it the way someone has said before, but it just isnt working. A step by step guide would be great if you can

But i've completed the single player and started doing multiplayer.
WTF is all that about? I hope the online mode in GT5 is better than GT5P because drifting in 5th in a F430 (Im assuming thats the "real" physics, but it was hopeless
then I got a penalty when someone else hit me and spun me.
And then it doesn't let you leave. Shambles tbh.
Just to prove a point to the matey who spun me the next game round I whipped his backside by 5 seconds.
Still won't be using online mode again :/
