****The official GT5 Prologue Thread****

I've just got the game, wth is this with all PS3 games saving em to the HDD?? Soon I'm not going to have any left, downloading the whole GT5P to disk is insane :(
 
I only got 2 S class races to go so tbh i wouldn't mind using that save file, how would you put it on the ps3.

Put it on a USB stick or some memory card in the folder PS3/SAVEDATA. You then put it in the PS3 and can copy it from the Save Data section.

I set it up on a seperate account so that I can play around with all the cool cars while still keeping my main save on my regular account. I didn't have the time (or patience) to grind out a Ferrari F1 :p
 
I've completely fallen in love with the Viper Coupe. The cockpit view is amazing and the handling is sublime. I love skidding around corners, it feels like I'm the best driver in the world when I do a turn and speed past several cars in the process.

Thats a damned good idea, thats why i was thinking of doing it, all that pointless racing to just unlock the car is blehhhhhhhhhh to me.
 
I'm so tempted to try that save file out - I have it downloaded to my desktop ready... problem is I'm really enjoying the game as it is!!! Maybe I will wait a while longer until I get really stuck.

If your enjoying the game I would delete the save and just carry on.

Lets face it, the real reason to keep playing is get your hands on the F1 car, some of us will have the patience to do that, others won't :p
 
Just tried the online mode - it's maniac ! Everyone's a bandit on the roads, trying to ram each other off! It's pretty hilarious when you ram the guy in front and see him dropping from 1st to place last :p

that setup isnt the best and was for the ordinary elise not the tuned version
....il post the setup for the tuned version tomorrow if anybody is stuck in S class races.....besides the last race is damn tough so a good setup is needed even for a bronze it seems.
 
wow, the cars get a lot more agressive during the s-class races!! i still cained all the tuned cars with my ferrari, what an awesome little car :p now all ive gotta do is save up for the F1 car... does anyone else think the music just before you start a race is cool? :p i like it
 
Oh well.... soldiering on again :p I learnt a lot of new racing skills in Class A so I'm eager to put those to use in the early races.
