I've used Winamp for years! The best media player out there that doesn't take up lots of resources etc!

I love Winamp! It's my main media player, although I must say Windows Media Player in Vista is giving it a run for its money now!

Can anyone help me? I've just installed the latest Winamp on my laptop(not the lite version) and i can't seem to get any skins working on it. I download them, install them and winamp seems to revert to its classic skin..any ideas?

Opening them from the main winamp site, it asks me if i want to install the skin, i click ok and then winamp reverts to its classic skin..

Try downloading the file and manually putting it in the Skins directory within the Winamp folder.

Thanks, that fixed it!

Does anyone know how i can get Winamp to show embbeded album art? It won't show it on any of my music!

When you say embedded you mean?

Right click on a song or collection of songs (album). View File Info. Change to Album Art tab and load it or download it.

Well i've used MediaMonkey to get tag information and album art for each one of my tracks and its embedded the album art into the music file rather than creating folder.jpg.

Thing is, when i open the mp3 in Winamp no album art is shown, but when i open the Album art tab under file info the cover is there, but not showing in the main play window
