Game for the GF ?

ayy it is true! well not my last ex, but previous one was good at it and ut2004, she loved it... some times fight if we only had the one laptop over goes on it :P ofcourse i know how to handle it... just smile and nod then find something more intereesting to do so she'll be drawn off it :P mwah ha haaa
 
Show her the TF2 character videos, which will give her an "I like this game" attitude towards TF2, then give her TF2! My girlfriend is a complete addict. Although she was previously a CS:S addict... I'm to blame for that, too... :o
 
It has very little to do with building, but what about LEGO Star Wars II? You need a gfx card that supports vertex and pixel shader 1.1, but other than that the min. requirements are low (1Ghz P3, 256Mb RAM - recommended is 2.4Ghz P4, 512Mb RAM, 128Mb GeForce 6 or better). I bought this for my brother recently, and it's brilliant - 2 player opt-in, opt-out co-op (on the same keyboard, although we have two) gives hours of laughs. :)
 
i mentioned to my gf about getting her a game, she said she likes shootem ups like they play in arcade, i was like ERR WATT
she said yeah like the one you play all the time!!
meaning COD4 and crysis
 
The Sims, WoW or get her a DS with the new Mario games or Pokemon. Toonstruck and Day of the Tentacle are quite girly too, generally point and click games or RPGs are good.

I really would recommend a DS though, because then she can sit beside you on the sofa and play :).
 
Trolls, it's an old dos game and I find it a little creepy but you should be able to run it under doxbox.
