If you think it's that bad then you're stupid for not resitting imo.
You cant, can you?

depends on the subject and where you got it though...
There is nothing wrong with a 2.2 - it's a solid degree. Although I was 1.4% away from a 2.1 - maybe I should have got it remarked? I'm happy either way.
Depends though, a lot of places will just filter through the initial applications so most people with 2:2s won't even get looked at.Thing is, with private companies, everything can be disregarded - if they think you're good they'll hire you - don't start thinking there are hard and fast rules - I've been on a grad scheme where a couple of non grads were present alongside people with masters degrees from top institutions.
If someone got a 1st in a hard subject from a decent uni then, so long as their CV was generally good, I doubt that being 1 UCAS point below their criteria will mean their CV is automatically binned.
Tis more people who get 2.1s from polys etc.. they are trying to filter out - tis a good bet that the guy with CDE at A-level but a 2.1 in IT from XYZ poly had a bit of an easier 'vocational course' than the guy with AAB and a 2.2 in physics from Imperial.
