I have no problem with maxtor HDD's as I have a 250GB diamondmax 21 which HD tune gives an average of about 82MB/s, but for £70 I would get the 640GB WD drive.

This is in RAID 1 too, so on a single drive you would get a better speed.

Didnt realise it was that cheap, slightly faster too. Ok go for the WD!
