The OcUK FIFA08 league (360): Season 2 sign up

Originally planned for 4 weeks but people sort of flew into it and played 20+ games in a few days so now its been see how we go territory. I would be inclined to say we stick to the plan as its a lot of games to play for some. And if people get bored I'm considering making a 2vs2 (in pro mode) Knockout cup running along side the league.

You didn't deserve to lose tbh, I can't get going and I've just managed to fluke 2 wins when I should have at least drawn them.

If I get a good run of games going I can catch Andy tbh, it's just getting my games played.
 
I just realised that theres a pretty definitive split, ive been chasing down the top 7 for ages, i think i have won about 10 out of my last 12 games, drawing and losing one, but not making up any ground.

There will be a mighty battle for 7th, top 6 are sewn up id say. With Fubsy the only one outside that will probably get in there. I reckon ill finish 9th.

I think you did deserve to win, you had the better play, but I was gutted by the soft first goal, I blocked the cross, but that diverted it perfectly into your pass.

Your second goal was good, but on the break as I pushed for an equaliser. But for all my posession I did not create any decent opportunities.

AWESOME, I had not figured anyone would listen to another player without their mic on! *embarrassed* apologies for the swearing :eek:

It was a great game, I did deserve to win, it was a shame I scored from your mistakes as opposed to the opportunities I created tho. :)

You try and play good football which is good, but at the back you need to be more clinical and just get rid of the ball ;)

yep, I do need to be more attacking in defense :)

I actually heard you shouting through tv speakers so slipped the headset on, then as you and a mate were having a chat I didn't want to interrupt! lol

Good fun match though, was so surprised that lob went in! :D

good game, should have been a draw , i never took that cut back. i always try and find a different way from that position bit annoyed i should have took it. your time wasting keep ball at the back was a bit unsporting (thats what it looked like anyway)

and i think my pad was running out i had to really push the pass button to do even a normal pass

In my eyes that wasn't a cut back as I was playing triangles around the box and the player who played the ball across the box had just received a pass, I didn't purposefully run the ball there and cut it back like a true cut backer.

I was damn lucky to get that last goal though.
