Police Told to Lower Crime Rate by Killing Criminals

when you think about it, in the world, there are good people, and bad people

if every one of those bad people were to be killed, there would only be good people left, which would make is so much safer and such a better place, so i think its a great idea, shame they wont do the same here!

You can't have good without bad, the idea is relative. If you started to remove bad people the definition of bad would change, until eventually you'd be killing people for things like littering. No one is perfect, everyone has done something "bad" at some point, you'd end up killing most of the planet.

Good.

South Africa is a terrible place for violent crime. About time some one in politics is taking things by the scruf of the collar and doing stuff in a way that will get things sorted.

South Africa: Deputy Safety and Security Minister Susan Shabangu has told police to ignore regulations and shoot any criminals who threaten them or the public in an effort to bring the massive levels of violent crime under control.

Read above, all of those complaining about "killing bad people" being a bad idea.

There's quite a difference between being armed with explosives, a knife, a gun, whatever and threatening people with it, than dropping litter.

The aforementioned armed people should be shot, I don't see why we should extend them the courtesy of living if they were to deny it from others.

I recall whilst in Barbados this dude got shot dead by the cops , reason the police suspected him of selling grass and he run away ,seems a bit harsh considering all the locals seem to sell it !

Cops with guns is not a good idea !

When in spain this cop was prodding me in the stomach with his gun just because I left a pub with the glass still in my hand

When will the bleeding hearts stop using this man as a martyr?

Are you suggesting that shooting dead an innocent man because you didn't do a proper surveillance job is reasonable then? Would you still feel the same if the person shot dead was your father?

Out of curiosity, how would you feel if they had been right, but didn't shoot him, but warned him/hesitated, and he blew the carriage up, killing the policemen and say your father who was in the train?
