Well if the rear passenger gets in, lifts their feet up, lets you click the seat back into place and then adjust the position of the front seat then it's fine :D

Problem is when locking the front seat back into place after moving it forward it slides all the way back.

Hmm, I see, so there is scope now to work around "Yes darling its rwd, and turbo'd, i'll be careful" :D

How twitchy and/or prone to easy loss of control is the 200SX? As I said not really done masses of research, when I was thinking about MR2's everyone was saying Rev 3 onwards is a lot more stable etc.. just to get an idea before I find a local one that'll be ok with a test drive :)

Wet with good tyres = use your head
Wet with bad tyres = very easy to get it out of shape in 1st, 2nd or 3rd
Wet with bad tyres and a lead foot = liability

In the dry I found it incredibly predictable with plenty of grip.

I find it quite predictable its only caught me out twice each time i've managed to control it, it doesnt help i have Dunlop Sport 2000E on the rear and some Detica crap on the front. but overally i find it quite easy to drive.

However with the new mods and the freedom of power in 1st and 2nd its slightly less predictable.

A for those tyre nazis i've already got 4x Falken 452 on order

Thanks, and cheers for the honesty :)

I'm not one to drive like an idiot, if conditions are !more forgiving" or not, I think it'll be fun to get a few test drives done anyways, only real way to tell if its the feel for you isn't it :)

If you do test drive a stock one don't be too disappointed if it doesnt feel fast, there isnt so much a turbo kick its a smooth power delivery rather than a kick in the back as these cars were orginally marketed as a Grand Tourer. They are still quite capable at stock just look down at the gauge they disguise speed well.

In all honesty, thats whats also a very appealing point, i'm really considering this because

A: I would love to leave the hatchback world and get a coupe

B: The only RWD car I have driven is a 118hp MGF

C: The only Turbo cars i've driven have been diesels.

I'm an experienced driver, but I haven't driven many "powerful" cars and I think this might be a sensible step up, i'm no idiot, I can drive well and know not to drive like a fool, and a smooth turno delivery will be a nice change from having to canr the car to 4k+ rpm for the vtec kick, you know :)
