Gah they've moved the two 3rd-party SATA ports to the IO.

I loved my P35-DS3P.

Actually there's no e-SATA ports. I assume they're using the bracket method again (something I'm in favour of), so I can't see why there's no JMicron SATA ports on the board.

In addition to this there are now ten SATA ports – four of which are from a Silicon Image chipset.

I hope that they are going to be cheaper than the silly prices being asked for the X48 boards!

They'll probably come in at roughly the same prices as P35 did, so maybe ~£110 to start with, dropping to £95-£100 when stock levels are better.
