Gah they've moved the two 3rd-party SATA ports to the IO.

I loved my P35-DS3P.

Actually there's no e-SATA ports. I assume they're using the bracket method again (something I'm in favour of), so I can't see why there's no JMicron SATA ports on the board.

I'm pretty much set on this chipset, any ideas when its gonna be available? Im gonna finally upgrade from my aged 3500+ 939 setup. Fingers crossed its soon..
 
They'll probably come in at roughly the same prices as P35 did, so maybe ~£110 to start with, dropping to £95-£100 when stock levels are better.

Hmmm I thought the P45 could do 16x2?
Or am I reading this wrong.
