I'm still shaking now. Didn't get the achievements as I still had no fail on, but that was done in career, where it has no effect. Almost done it 2 more times, but missed the star power before 'What The...? and failed there

The intro is now my *****, just need to master Hermans solo and then i'll be able to do it consistently. Keep having to use a full bar to get through it, then I have to get the next 2 otherwise i'll fail in 'What the...?'. Not fun, but I did FC the intro on my last attempt :cool:

What does no fail do then? What it says on the tin? If so doesn't that mean anyone can complete it?

I'm still stuck at the 80% mark of TTFATF on Expert, i always fail at that point

Edit: Ah just seen you mention it has no effect in career, in which case very well done!

This game is keeping my interest far more than my other games at the moment, i think it is because i don't have much time for gaming now and i can just pop it in and play a few songs without needing any commitment,

I am on the last 2 tiers on expert but i can't even get past the intro on the songs i have tried, so at the moment i am going through 5 staring hard, got everything up to tier 6 done so far and havn't really had to struggle yet

The 80% point is where I fail too, I just got lucky on that run. It's the only part i'm stuck on, can pass it after that easily, just use star powr in you rock and no problems there

So if i hold onto start power until that point i could potentially run right through to the end?

If you can pass Herman's solo without star power then yea, but like me, you'll probably need to use it there, and get the next two.

I have had to "wuss out" out of the boss battles on Expert as they are a bit too frustrating. Working my way through the rest of the songs and as far as Hard goes I still can't beat Raining Blood and obviously not the final battle as it isn't unlocked yet.

Well done Creature, I'm guessing you completed TTFAF on Expert as I can't see the pic cause I'm at work

What does using star power on tough bits actually do?

Give you a bigger boost to your rock meter when you hit notes. So if you are missing a lot of notes the extra boost from the ones you hit will help you get through tough sections.

Edit: Though in my case I still cant get past One on hard

Are there any songs on medium (other than TTFAF) that have 1000 notes in them?
I'm trying to get the 1000 note streak achievement and I'm sick to the back teeth of missing the odd note on TTFAF on easy. I aren't good enough to get anything over a 50 note streak on any of the hard songs either.

Only One by Metallica and TTFAF are over 1000 notes on medium and only TTFAF on easy.

Thanks for the link. The chances of me getting it on "One" on medium is pretty slim. Guess I'll just keep practicing.

Managed to finsh One on hard now and I've 5* around half the songs on hard so far.

Don't think I'll be beating Lou on hard in the near future unless anyone has any tips? I died before I even got any powerups!
