[Basketball]Playoffs just started.

How many clutch players can one team have?

Michael Finley, banging in 1 clutch 3 three tonight. Amazing, never fails. True vet.

Seriously, Suns are dangerous, but the Spurs, oh my the Spurs, veterans playing proper basketball, it's awesome to see. Tim Duncan is the greatest PF ever, fact and the fact he drops 1 three a season, and at play-off time, typical.

Spurs will take this series, I've got no interest in any other team atm.

Would be awesome is Brent Barry was fully fit.

Hes a superb player in my opinoin. :)

Pop rested him towards the end of the regular season I think, he basically get's paid to play in the Play-Offs, he's that good. Worst slam dunk champion, ever though! :)

The best thing though, is that the Spurs are deep, all the way down the bench. Most of them are fundamental players, apart from Manu and Tony Parker, but when you're that good, you can get away with it.

Bit annoyed at Tony Parker getting fouled out, regardless of the fact it was 2OT. He's played long enough to know, that the Spurs don't have a good enough backup to replace him. In saying that Manu done a good job, he's probably top 3 in the NBA going to the hole, completely fearless.

If you watch when Pop give that play, for Tim Duncan to flash out instead of rolling into the lane; Manu gets the ball from the inbound, and curls around the left elbow, and Shaq collapses down with Diaw I think, and leaves Tim Duncan wide open for the 3, which ofcourse, he nails. This is why the Spurs get me going, yes, I said it, GET ME GOING. They're just a joy to watch.

manu is the key to the spurs, look at them against the lakers w/out him ...they were terrible, i watched the whole game.

can never underestimate the spurs even though i have a feeling this isn't their year.

duncan does continue to amaze lol.

The West is so strong, it's crazy. The past five years you could point out 2-3 teams who all had a legitimate chance, apart from the GSW, they we're just a total shocker when the play-offs came around last year. I'm looking at NOH and thinking, narrrrr, they've got a good regular season team, but they haven't got the bench to run with the likes of Detriot, Spurs and Celtics. It's the same with the Lakers, they haven't really got the depth. So I don't rate them in the play-offs either. LA's not the same without Shaq, and P. Gasol ain't replacing him anytime soon.

Tell you what the Hornets are really stuggling here. They dont seem to be able to get anything decent plays done, they canny move the ball fast enough.

tyson chandler lol

paul started good in the start of the 3rd but the mavs are looking good, just as well as they need to with the hornet having home court adv.

bigmouse - the lakers really? i think they have a nice shot to at least hit the west final if Odom can stay consistent under pressure (not certain) ....for me Odom is their man ...when he plays well it opens up the whole floor and enables Kobe to do his thing. but i'd really like to see the nuggets do the lakers and see what AI/Melo can really do in playoff conditions.

i'm sticking with Boston for the title, mainly because they're my team but i think they just look awesome and are getting better ...especially Powe improving match by match of the bench and the addition of Cassell.

shame as they held the game in the first half away from home....ah well they'll have to do it the hard way now.

The Lakers just don't do enough for my liking. Lemar is brilliant, and does what you say, but when it comes to the play-offs you can have 1 Super-star and not get it done. Look at the Cavs last year, LeBron carried them. The last time a team was carried was Jordan and the Bulls, and even then, the supporting cast was far superior to the Lakers. I just can't see it.

It's Powe' break out season, he's been awesome, done what he's been asked and then some. They've got 3 real superstars, so they're definatley a force, no doubt. It's going to be an exciting few weeks that's for sure!

Spurs to take all again though! ;)

kobe has loads more support than lebron, i feel sorry for him .....they really tanked on their trade ben wallace wasn't worth losing hughes and gooden.

i don't agree about the bulls either, pippen/rodman were genuine stars in their own right.

denver-lakers is a nice game ....JR is starting to smoke it up.

I've not been keeping track of this season but I caught the Suns/Lakers game and Shaq is just a big fat waste of space! I've not really followed a team this season, but Dwight is just awesome, as is Lebron. Can't decide!!

shaq played pretty well last night, it's a shame most of his teamates couldn't chip in with him.

anyway it's all about Boston, couple more hours till we go 2 zip
