We are a supplier to mentioned Competitor group (2 main video game retailers in UK) and was doing a store review with Oxford store on Wednesday. I asked about the GTA launch and they aren't getting stock till next week.. or I would have one :(

If it wasnt Tuesday, it would have been next Friday, not this Friday, its only brought forward for us because US releases games on a Tuesday, so you should be thankful.

Im one of the luckiest people here i think lol.

Walked into town today to see if i could get a late pre-order. Walked into local game shop, asked and low and behold i got GTA4 sitting in front of me!

Awesome! :D

Hmm, I finish here a little earlier on Fridays, might have to stealth into the shops and see if they'll allow a copy to fall into my hands.

I think we need to improve the proof requirements

How about a photo of you in the shop with the game in one hand with the manual half out, and your forum name in the other

Then a loaf on the shop assistants head

Just so that when someone posts the picture, it makes me laugh before I get angry and jealous :mad:
 
you guys have no *******g idead how mad I am now, most of you havent even got close to getting it yet I had the damn thing in my hands I will most definately be crying my self to sleep tonight.
