He has got a point Kreeeee, I can see where you're coming from, but to say GTA4 is the same as the others is pretty stupid
I never said it wasn't, but Bossy's comment is particularly stupid.

proper gaming = playing with joypad or keyboard & mouse type games
wii games = party games with wagging movement
when i played super mario on wii i had to use wii mote and nunchuck ,
i just want to play games using traditional game pads
like mario kart
Call me when the Grand Theft Auto series sells more copies than Tetris, then tell me what a proper game is.
What exactly do sales have to do with it? Im sure Girls Aloud or whatever the latest fad is out sell lots of much better bands, does that make them proper music?

Nintendo didnt make tetris, even my mum knows that.
If you read my post, you'll spot that I didn't say they did.
I know.
Nintendo have released their financial figures for the last year (april2007-march2008), with a sales turnover of $16billion (1670billion yen), they've made $2.5billion profit (257 billion yen).
Go Nintendo!
Other few facts:
24.45 million Wii sold in total, with a game attach rate of 6.07games/wii
70.6 million SD sold in total, with a game attach rate of 5.24games/ds
Wii production ramping up to 2.4 million per month in the summer (currently 1.8 million per month)
Play GTA IV then say that! It's the next step up for games.
I'm sorry, I'm drunk, you're going to have to spell out the point that you're making, because it's really not apparent.
This for me proves you know nothing about gaming.
Nintendo changed the way games are played and who plays them overnight. They deserve this.
When did they do this?
People go on and on about how its good that Nintendo are getting more people into gaming, but is this genuinely a good thing? I like that gaming isn't done by everybody. Im worried that if everyone gets into gaming companies will start to realise that people lap up endless brain training clones, Sims expansions and *generic mini game compilation* What happens if we stop seeing "hardcore" games like Bioshock, Oblivion, Portal and stuff because the masses don't play those?
