skittles vodka

I'll let you guys know how it tastes with this ASDA vodka in a week or so then. I would've loved to use Smirnoff but 5 bottles worked out quite a lot; though saying that only £30 more than ASDA's own so probably worth it in reality. Meh :p
 
Cant be any worse than the vodka my housemates bought a few days ago.

Dodgiest stuff I've ever seen. Was imported, ingredients said

"Vodka, Flavour."

Apparently it was meant to have a nice flavour? Was like a tequila/vodka mix.

37.5% - the girls hardly had any of it, yet they felt like they'd been drugged or something.

Well here it goes so far! Had a sniff/taste of ASDA own vodka, smells pretty foul. Smells somewhat better now the skittles are dissolving in it.

They seem to be dissolving quite quick, lots of hydrogenated fat and all that crap floating on top at the moment... eek.

Using 195g of skittles (assuming there are equal amounts of colours in each of the 5 bags, which there probably aren't) per bottle btw.

Not really a Vodka drinker.

I am if I mix it, With say Coke, or Orange or Anything that means i'm not drinking it straight lol.

So for a none Vodka drinker, WHo loves the look of this, What Vodka would you recommend, And can I ask how harsh it tastes once the sweeties are dissolved. :p

I see ASDA have poshed up on their labels!!! :eek:

Last time I had ASDA brand vodka it was just a white label with "VODKA" in black lettering, like someone described a few posts up. I wonder if they've changed suppliers and maybe gotten something that tastes a bit better than lighter fuel now.

Be interesting to see how the marshmallow one works out, tried it with Flumps and it just turned into Jelly as soon as it went in the fridge (thankfully it was in a bowl so could just eat it with a spoon).

Well I plan to filter it like the others, so hopefully that shouldnt be a problem :)

Hopefully not, although with the Flumps there was nothing left except the liquid (which was quite syrupy) which is why we didn't bother to filter it. If the filtering cures the turning to jelly thing I'd be tempted to retry it as it tasted nice enough.

these bottles of vodka are so pretty...im definately going to have to do it. i have a amazingly foul bottle of absinthe about...think that'll be helped by adding some skittles or such to it?
 
I've just finished off a little bottle of red skittles smirnoff, my mates giving me a lift to town to buy gta IV at midnight, i'm gonna get to play it for 3 hours and I have got to go to the airport to fly to newark for a week. :(
Despair.
