skittles vodka

Right, cheapo bottle of vodka, check.

Apologies for not reading through the whole thread (quite long), I have a 70cl bottle, how many bags of Skittles do I need? And to confirm, I'm only making one bottle, so I can put them all in, except for green?

Muchos gracias!

From what I have read 5-6 small packets to a litre.

I am going to make some for a friends BBQ/Party, got some cheap nasty vodka that's about to go through a brita filter :)

Mmm:

It goes down very, very easy.

Mines finished today, put yellow, orange and red in.

Used a siv and kitchen roll to filter the vedge fat and it looks very nice

In the freezer atm

Yea you need atleast 2 days for it to 'brew' :)

Mine looks the exact same in proper light, heres a pic on my phone cam:

Started mine earlier and it's nearly done already, about 300ml in each with 55-60 skittles (one red/purple the other orange/yellow).

Using plastic bottles atm so it looks a bit crap but it should be good once it's all filtered.

I am planning to do this for a May bank holiday house party.

I'm away in SA for 2 weeks though, would leaving them to infuse for that long mess them up?

I was thinking of doing strawberry skittle, lemon skittle, and marshmallow (I saw this online) ones.

Should I just wait and do it in the week running up to the party after I get back?

I find the longer you leave it the less vodka harshness is left so leaving it for that amount of time should be fine, ive had mine for a few months before

Well I just bought 5 bottles of ASDA own vodka, should be interesting. Needless to say I looked like an alcoholic/weirdo purchasing that, 5 giant bags of skittles, a funnel and some filters!

I'm up for trying this. Exams finish in just under 3 weeks so I should have time to brew some up :D

Please excuse me for not reading through the whole thread (too busy studying for exams...honest!), but for a single 70cl bottle how many packs of skittles do I need? And did I see something about not using green ones? Whats the best colour to use?

Thanks.
