Conan O'Brien Shows "Toned Down" GTA IV (LOL!!)

American humour CAN be funny, but that was a terrible attempt at satire. That was boring, though, it's like the sort of thing that would be funny if it was just between you and some friends (slightly drunk no less), not the sort of thing that you'd feel the need to share with people over a national television program...

Simpsons has been done too many times to be classed as funny

Sorry if any of the above is Canadian. It's hard to tell the difference these days :p I'd say there are more UK shows that I find funny than US shows. I can just about stand the canned laughing in Big Bang Theory but in any other show it sucks. The US is better for action types like 24, Heroes, Lost and Battlestar. Mainly because they have the money to make them. How anyone can watch Dr Who or Spooks without ripping their eyes out is beyond me.

I found myself wanting to do that after tonights Doctor Who, especially after watching BSG :o
 
Ok lets put it this way then, American Talkshows which try and take the mick out of any Grand theft auto franchise will not be funny. :)

you're right, not funny at all... don't like American Talk shows much... The Daily Show is good tho. :D
 
People love to generalise, some things are funny some not but laugh out loud stuff is overrated anyway, as long as something is at least entertaining and doesn't have stupid canned laughter it's good.
