Seinfeld and Home Improvement were awesome shows, Raymond certainly has its moments with Peter Boyle and Desperate Housewives can be pretty darn funny to be honest, currently waiting for the new episode to get on the net.

I'm not sure how you can brand an entire country's TV as "not funny", but I'll admit I've never been one for the late-night shows. Family Guy is pretty much a parody of itself these days and not worth watching, and the Simpsons has run for too long, but there's still things like South Park and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Watching Arrested Development DVDs will never get boring either.

Give me Peep Show any day though
