One thing you like about England?

When i was in wales there was nothing to do....literally...nothing. Im sorry to say but also it seems half your housing is council housing and miners cottages, as thats what you had a lot of...miners and then you were screwed over. Wales is like a dispersed industrial town.

The departure gate at the airport.....

That and proper beer :)
No one does beer quite like us

A lovely warm summer day, all the windows open and a gentle breeze blowing through the house, and the cricket on TV, but with the volume muted and an old wireless for the commentry.
Bliss.

Hehe, my dad used to do that when C4 showed the cricket years ago:)

Specifically, when you get back from a holiday?

When I come home from a holiday or sometimes just in general i love the smell of the air in the morning. Its sort of cool and clean.

I know this probably cant be said for london but in leeds it seems pretty cool and fresh. Even in canada and other cool countries it just doesnt smell the same.

I layed in bed this morning with the window open and didnt want to move becaue it was so nice

Oddly enough despite being lucky enough to be able to visit many exotic destinations, I always like coming home because it is exactly that "its my home"

I always answer this with pubs. It seems very rare in any place I go to to find a pub quite like a local at home, it's always bars, table service etc. I remember walking back in to my local, backpack still in hand after 5 months of being away, being greeted by everyone and having a free pint down for me from the landlord. That was cool.

Aside from that, lots of stuff, really. The countryside, the educational opportunities I've had, english ales, music history, big breakfasts....A lot more. I've always said that I fully intend to leave the country after graduating and disappear somewhere, but that's not down to disliking England, just wanting to see what else is out there. I wouldn't call myself patriotic, but I do quite like it here :)

everything. i love it

especially when the weather is nice like this.

oh and apparently i live in the worst place in uk so i bet id really really love it if i moved elsewhere :p

Quaint, affordable B&Bs in remote countryside, free of any urban invasion and not a chav in sight.
