thanks so what if you get damage you cant do a pit to fix it like in previous toca games?

The game includes a feature which allows you to rewind back time a few seconds to correct any potentially race ending mistakes. The feature is not unlimited though, and you are only allowed to use it a certain amount of times during a race and not at all during multiplayer games.

Don't flame me please... but dare I ask if this is 60fps like Toca Race Driver 3 on the Xbox, or 30fps like Dirt?

I'm not sure what to make of this tbh, the graphics are nie and the damage is well done but the handling is really arcadey, I'm used to games like GT5/PGR4(i know it's not a 100% sim!) where you have to actually brake before before going round a corner!

30fps in my eyes
with no drops so ok by me looks 100x better than trd3

I very much doubt that the games visuals will disappoint many people!!

I should hope it does look better, given it's only displaying half the number of frames and has rather more power under the hood than an Xbox.

Think i will download the demo for both consoles and then decide which one i like the best and going by most multi platform games we probably know which one will be the best

I've been following this game and the website closely, been looking forward to the Demo launch for a while.

How does this compare to PGR4 for the avid PGR4 fans like me? Don't say "It's over hyped crap" etc as that is the review of a pathetic 6 yeard old. :rolleyes:

Give me some specifics, i leave work in 20 minutes and will download this as soon as i get home.

I get the feeling Codemasters chose to release this too close to GTAIV though. A game such as this deserves lots of copies being bought to create a good online member base.

Just had a go on the PS3. If you're after some realistic Touring Cars action, don't bother. No matter what Codemasters say, it's about as arcade as you can get. The acceleration off the line is absolutely ridiculous and the cars seem to be wearing ice skates around the corners. No weight to the cars at all. Very disappointed. Couldn't get it to work with my G25 either. Calibrates at the start of the game but none of the buttons work ingame
