Cooling down question....

Probably a silly question. If I put my fan on the window sill and aim it out of the window, would it pull the hot air from out of my room and act as an exhaust thus cooling the room down?
Or am I better just pointing it at me lol?
 
it depends how big it is, its more likely to just pull air from around itself and push it out the room, probably interfering with the airflow between the outside and the inside.
It would be better aiming it at/near you really.
 
Aim it at you, airflow over your skin causes moisture evaporation cooling your skin and body, aiming the fan out of the window will most likely just agitate the air near the window and not really cool you.

I have a fan on the window sill blowing air inside, as it seems to be much cooler outside than in the house. Working ok all last night and so far today!
