Sixers ain't giving up either :D

What a performance from Dirk! 32/19

Description: The San Antonio-Phoenix series was supposed to be a spectacular first-round matchup. Instead, it's become a Spurs smackdown.

Spurs to sweep the Suns? :D

Discuss/Mock/Enjoy etc :)

100-97 (was 100-97 till a Cav's 3 ball) with 5.4 on the clock, Wizards ball. Timeout. Set up the play and the 3 point OT shot doesn't drop :(

Shame as they had battled back from 15 down :o

I'd love to see the Sixers and the Hawks win their respective series - would really make a mess of things :)

Alas I fear it is too late for my Rockets to do any damage to Utah :(

And like I thought Avery Johnson has been giving his marching orders by Mark Cuban :)

New head coach for the Mavs I guess - who gets on well with Kidd?

Paul Pierce was awesome last night. In other news, Spurs killed of the Suns and are on track to take it all, again. Wo0p.

"the truth" is awesome full stop ;)

spurs won't get past the lakers should they meet in the western final, don't underestimate Kobe now he has help.

What happens when Bruce Bowen is on Kobe? Him and Raja Bell are the only guys who can truely guard him, I have all confidence in the Spurs.

Couldn't believe Cavaliers lost last night to Wizards, last 3 sec Butler clinched it, fair play to him tho he was brilliant.

Come on Cavaliers!

here's my take - i was in new york to watch the Knicks v Hawks @ MSG a few weeks back and on the sunday i caught Lakers v Spurs at the hotel.

Kobe and Odom ripped the spurs apart, bowen is a great defender but Kobe won't be stopped when he wants to turn it up. The spurs were without Manu so they suffered on offence obviously but the game was a complete blowout. I think this Laker team is better than you think and on the up, and the spurs squad is getting older....i hope they meet in the conf. final coz it will be an awesome series but i do fancy the Lakers as i think Kobe has a genuine supporting cast to at least get them to the Finals.

think i will stay up tonight to watch game 6 of Boston/Atlanta ...hopefully we can take them out on their own court to go through now. Atlanta are a dangerous team so it doesn't surprise me to see them take a game or 2 at home ...like i said i saw JJ and Josh Smith live @ MSG ...those 2 can play!!! thrown in Horford and Childress and Bibby and you have a nice young team on the up.

Wow no one's been posting in here :(

Celtic went to town on the Hawks (99 - 65)!! Big D combined with shots that would not fall left Atlanta shooting 22% for the first half :o

Round 2 well under way now:

East:

Pistons/Magic: - late in game 4 now - Magic looking to make it 2 - 2

Celtics/Cavaliers: 2 - 0

LeBron can't score with the Celtics swarming him and his teammates are up to their usual 'doing sweet FA' trick - LeBron really should be the MVP tbh - without him the team would be nothing.

West:

Hornets/Spurs: 2 - 1

Hornets ripped the Spurs several new ones on their homecourt to go 2 - 0 up. San Antonio managed to edge the Hornets out on the return home. Ginobli as a starter went off for 31 points as did Tony Parker!!

Lakers/Jazz: 2 - 1

Lakers crushed the Jazz at the Staples centre and really locked down Boozer. Back at home though and the Jazz pulled off a narrow victory.

Judging from whats been played thus far I'm going with:

West Finals - Hornets vs Lakers
East Finals - Celtics vs Pistons

Finals - Hornets vs Celtics

:)

you won't see bigmouse post again now he realises the hornets are going to do the spurs :)

nah CP3 without a doubt, he was robbed for MVP.

only because Kobe should have received the MVP in previous seasons and didn't did he get it this year.

Lakers - Celtics final

Orlando Eliminated by the Pistons 4 - 1!

Spurs force game 7 in New Orleans!

Lakers-Jazz Game 6 is tonight - Jazz must win to stay alive

Boston-Cleveland Game 6 is tonight with so far a stalemate at home - Cavs must win...
