I thought I'd show the Mrs how to play GH on easy, she's ripped through the career with low scores in one hit. I've had to move a 360 downstairs now and set her up.

Yeah but the problem is apparently the CLACK CLACK CLACK of the sticks hitting the pads can get very annoying, you want the noise to come from the speakers, you don't want to hear a plastic thwacking noise over the top of the game.

That's the instruments pack + game. That's not the RRP but that's what I can buy both for right now online.

Its a lot better than the RRP I will give you that, but I won't give EA/Harmonix my money because they have seriously overpriced this in the UK and I think it stinks, that's just a personal thing for me though, I understand why you are buying it, should be a great game.

I agree that they priced it too high though, I was expecting £120 for instruments plus game.

How much was uk shipping, I've seen these on the bay as well but probably cheaper direct.

Yeah if you buy the game from one store and the instrument set elsewhere you can do it for £125. Obviously it's expensive as you have said it's greater value than Guitar Hero and anyone expecting GH4 to be cheaper than £100 for game/guitar and drums is in for a serious shock.

Anyway this thread isn't about that we know it's not cheap.
 
Has it been confirmed that all the DLC that is available in the US at the minute will be available from day 1 in the UK?

GH4 probably will have a mic and drums the bundle will be more than £100. GH3 RRP was £75 but readily available for £69.99 at launch. It hasn't come down much even now. There isn't a way in hell GH4 will add even just drums and not go another £40 over the price of a normal GH game and thats not including a mic.

Its more expensive than the US one and not comaparble to conversion rates but nothing in this country ever is.

Not that I have read. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't ready knowing live. I'm hoping it's all there but wouldn't be shocked if it's drip fed in over a few weeks.
