Spielburg was behind some of it apparantly, lol

Is it fun to play? will the gf like it too?

Just about finished mario kart (just getting the * rating for mirror cup is left)

I know virtually nothing about it, but have seen on various sites that it's getting very good reviews.

I really enjoyed it, it makes a refreshing change to all the usual shoot em ups or racers that are being released. It's like a big version of jenga with fun secondary objectives :p

Its actually pretty good fun. Good graphics, good physics, oddly addictive. I have played it twice and it can get a bit frustrating/starts to make your wrist ache.

Good fun, multiplayer in particular is great with 3/4 people. The single player is a bit hit and miss due to them mixing the game styles up, some work much better than others but overall I think it's well worth picking up.

My fiance loves it, one of the few games she will ask me if we can play.

Its hard to see though where steven spielberg comes in ? Its basically some kind of physics demo/flash game/jenga puzzle . Sure the characters are a good match for the wii's hardware but its hardly Raiders of the lost ark

He went to some gaming event and had ideas about a game he'd like to play with his kids.. and here it is.

Multiplayer is great and is something that everyone in a family can enjoy. Good use of the motion controls too.

A couple of the game modes aren't so good, such as the target shooting ones, but overall it's a lot of fun.

This game looks a lot of fun and to me it's what the Wii should be about. If more games were designed from the ground up to work with the Wiimote then I may have kept mine - I didn't really want to play standard ports or remakes of old games with added waggle.

Picked this up earlier today along with 'Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey' but that's a whole other discussion; and after just 1 game with the family I have to say this IS the family party game I've been waiting for. Simple to control but I can see with huge depth and longevity. The wife and I have already agreed this is the game for tonights fun.

Thowing balls to knock things down; how can you go wrong. Simply genius. I'd normally give it something a week before recommending it but I'm making an exception here.

Not so sure this was a good idea now.

Didn't take the wife long to get the hang of it so we had a few games.

When we went to bed the score was 15-0 to her...

Never been this heavily thrashed in a game in ever before... lol.

Just discovered the attack games. Basically the screen splits in two and you both have a castle and it's a race (with limited ammo) to knock down your opponents. This is THE best two player fun I've had in a long time :)
