Nissan 200SX

Cheers for the replies guys, i dont think the guy has had the car on a dyno, but i will ask him what sor tof power it is pushing with the stainless stell sports exhaust and air filter.

I was under the impression that at stock they pushed about 200 bhp at stock, so would have thought with the 2 added things it may be running 220 possibly?
 
Quick update. I went to see the car today, looked amazing from a distance however it would have needed at least 2 of the panels respraying due to scratches down them. Also the left front headlight looked cracked so probably would have needed to be sorted/replaced.

Sounded very very nice with the new exhaust on, and along with the air intake pushed the power to about 240bhp.

Went on a test run (as a passenger) and it felt mighty quick when he put his foot down, but didnt seem out of control/dangerous. Has definitely confirmed that i would like to get one :).

If it has a decat aswell then yes because it raises the boost by about 2 psi. The exhaust system is really restrictive

I dont think it was decatted, but certainly had the exhaust modified to allow it to breathe a bit better.

There was one more mod under the bonnet to help with the bhp, as i think the air filter added 9bhp, and exhaust was about 15-20.

If it wasnt decatted then I would doubt the figures as there are two cats on the 200, one in the front down pipe and one in the mid section. A filter and a back box alone wouldnt add that much IMO unless he did the free boost upgrade aswell.
 
Ah right, now u come to mention it, he did say something about the downpipe, so that could have been the other thing that had been done, with the mid section one being left in place.
 
ive just bought an intercooler for my S13, ive just come home after fitting it, a guy on the owners club sold it to me and helped me fit it

That is very nice looking, has aged very well and is in excellent nick.

I have just signed up to the SXOC forum so will be switching tabs between OCUK and SXOC, lol.
