I had high hopes for Anelka, but he is always out on the wing. If he was in the centre more he might get more goals. I really can't see him leaving though.

Newcastle representatives watching Mario Gomez according to NUFC.com. Looks perhaps like a replacement for Viduka, his goalscoring record is good as well.

Good for him I reckon, if true. He'll hopefully get some more games that the 30odd he's had in all his Arsenal years, since Mellberg has left.

Well hes got a lot of potential and as a product of Wenger hell be very disciplined.

I take it your talking about Gavin Hoyte as your talking about potential. Becuase his brother has none. The 4.5m was the figure rejected last year.

No guarentee Arsenal won't be in the UEFA cup as well.

£4.4m would be a good deal for Hoyte. He's been bullied too easily this season and doesn't look cut out for a top4 side. With the arrival of Sagna he is now surplus to requirements. Going by past experience I'd be very surprised if Arsenal get more than £2m for him.

We've apparantly agreed a fee of 6m for Pique with Barcelona. Only a year left on his deal so its not a bad price.

Probably means a RB will almost definately be bought with Brown as backup for CB.

Aye. People over on redcafe seems disapointed but I'm not convinced he was ever good enough. Had high hopes at the start of the season but I think he's showed that whilst he's good backup, he'll never breakthrough into the first team.

4mill up front 2 mill on appearances. fair enough with only a year left. it's possible we'll bring someone in as back up now as we might be a bit short if silvestre goes as well. i don't really think evans will make it with us to be honest either so i'd expect him to go for a similar figure to sunderland.
