I think it'll be a huge mistake on his part if he tries to sell his ticket.

If you do one thing try and persuade him not to.

As a neutral I have gone for a United win, only because being a Spurs fan I don't want Chelski winning it.

Hoping for a good game though.

Its a little more complicated than that, long story short one of the season tickets that the ticket was booked on belongs to one of the 3 lads my brother always travels with now passed on mother. With the "ticket is your Visa" thing and not being able to get a get a hotel room to get a "real" visa they assumed that he would not be able to get into the country on the ticket.

Now when the ticket arrived it DOESNT have a name on it so it would have been ok but he didnt book his travel and now its too late, so they have this spare 120 ticket that no-one can use.

Selling it in Moscow would be asking for trouble but all the people he normally offers "spares" to cant sort out travel without notice and this lad i now asking my brother to try and "get him his £120 back" by selling it at the ground.

Frankly I think my brother should tell his mate to bite the bullet rather than risk trouble selling it but what can you do, my brother doesnt want to leave his mate out of pocket but I really dont want my brother in a russian jail cell.

And thats the short version :S

Neutral voting for Chelsea.

I prefer the way they play. Man U always go on and on about how they play the best football, but they only do against weak sides, or games which are not important. When it comes to important games, they play the most negative football I have ever seen.

you do talk tripe. the difference between our sides is united can adapt to the games they play whereas arsenal just give up and sulk.

Arsenal? :confused::)

I agree with Georges. Against stronger sides United have not exactly played free-flowing entertaining football. Neither have Chelsea for that matter, except the latter parts of leg2 versus Liverpool where they opened up and turned up the heat.

I have a feeling Ballack will elevate his already strong game and become the general we've seen in Leverkusen, Munchen and Germany. He is peaking in form and age, and proven to himself and critics he is the man over Lampard.

I voted for Man Utd, rather see the cup coming back to the north west again.

I find it hard to believe somebody will walk around Moscow with over £1k in cash, its not going to happen, the criminals would be clued with a scam to take the ticket with ease.

Come Chelsea don't let the mancs get the double.

We let you get to the final, so you can only repay the favour. If you don't win I'll never forgive you :o

Now we play negative football?
WHAT!?

We played Liverpool off the park over 2 legs, Arsenal off the park in the first leg and cup, played Chelsea off the park in the first game this season (and rested our 2 highest goal scorers for the second).

Where has this fallacy of negative football come from? Conserving energy at the end of the season maybe... Certainly not negative... That's Chelsea's game of going 1-0 up and going defensive (or simply slamming the long ball up to Drogba like they did against us, Liverpool (in both legs), Bolton etc..)

At a guess, from your European games? Where your manager has been too scared to play real football against the likes of Barca and Roma, and has stuck to fairly defensive and stifling formations in both legs.

I actually think Chelsea have started to play some nice football recently. Admittedly I've not seen many of their games (no reason to), but against Newcastle they did seem to play it about a bit. Ballack is a much more technical player than Lampard, so I think his presence in the middle of the pitch ahs helped them in that respect.

If Man Utd play anything like they have recently in Europe then I hope Chelsea will win. Why do Man Utd resort to such boring football in Europe :/ especially since they're the 'best attacking team' in Europe or whatever they call themselves nowadays

I wouldn't say Man.U. have been boring recently, they've just not been playing well, whereas Chelsea have been playing much better football than they did early on the season:)

I personally think any team who come up against Barca and attack them will come of very much 2nd best - they havent been playing well but still could punish most/all teams in the premiership without even trying

In Yes Utd did have to play defenisve against them and personally dont think anyone should appologise for that - being 50th Anniversary etc

No way at all was the Roma leagues defensive - we played brilliant football over both leagues (admittedly the 2-0 away win helped a lot but we would have been fools going into the home game and throwing it away)

Also dont forget that Vidic didnt play a good proportion of the Barca legs so its not that surprising we would be more defensive with a vital piece of our defensive rock missing

In regards to the final, its such an even game to call - both sides have beaten the other this season (a minor point but Chelsea havent yet beaten Man Utd full 1st XI) and the teams are capable of putting on decent games when playing against each other - Im just praying for it to be entertaining
