I'm thinking change because the other store has never let me down, well once with bioshock when on the friday I found they had sent me the pc version but when I phoned at 6pm on friday night they made sure they had one to me for the saturday morning! At left it to my honesty to send back the pc one.

You know I think I'm going to cancel it and buy in store. Its only £3 cheaper and I want to make sure I can get it for release

When you say buy it in store aren't you going to be paying 30 quid more for the instruments? Every store I phoned today said the instruments were going to be 129.99 and the game 49.99.....Which quite frankly sucks and is putting me off buying because I don't want to pay 170-180 quid, nor do I don't want the hassle of sending back instruments through the post if they break just to get it cheaper....

He means get the game in store, not the instruments. We have the instruments for £95

Any guesses if the big supermarkets will be selling this at midnight? Instruments included, only want the drums as i already have 2x guitar hero guitars.

Yeah although one of the supermarkets is now selling the instrument pack for £99 which I would have bought instead of the place I have. Atleast then if it goes wrong it would be easier to return.

Ahh fair enough.

Still, it's going to be a hassle to send the drum kit back if it breaks so my point still kind of stands. I just wish shops wern't such a rip off.

Only seen one supermarket selling at that price but not convinced there would be much local stock of it as they aren't a games specialist.

They aint, you can get it for £99 plus quico from a shop for delivery day and return it to a store if it goes wrong. The game you can get for £37.99 then quidco.

I can honestly understand not paying 180 but no one has too.

wont be buying this, I think it's disgusting how much they have charged in the UK compared to every other country, i mean, come on, how much more greedy can you get that to change the $ sign into a £ and then STILL add a few more £'s, bloody ridiculous. i'll wait for the next guitar hero which, now it has some competition, should be FAR better than III

It says online for delivery on the 23rd so they are confident with stock.

Guitar hero 4 is rumoured to have drums if you think it's going to be cheaper for a drum kit than rockband you are deluded. Just look at the price GH3 was available for and thats without a drum kit.

As I said before just about everything in america to Uk conversion swaps a $ for a £. Why with this game has it become such a shock. Not only that the costs of fuel is this country and VAT would make it a sure thing to be more expensive than USA. Sure the retail is high but then so is the retail on 360 games. Only a fool pays them.

Without thinking about it you can save £40 on the retail without using quidco.

Cancel. Either pay the extra £3 for a shop one or use a better website thats more reliable. Not worth the risk imo.

The very last thing I want is Wrydo to have it and leave me stuck playing the drums in silence.

GHIII was easily available for £55 WITH the game. Rock Band is overpriced, i think 100, maybe 120 WITH the game would be about right with all the instruments.

Won't stop me picking up the drums (provided i can find a set at a supermarket!) and enjoying the game though, will use the (apparently superior GH guitar [of which i have two]) and rock out!

FYI people, you can use the 360 headset as the mic input.

Looking through the GH3 thread very few people got it that cheap if at all. The only reason I got it cheaper was because a supermarket at xmas was doing the 20% off offer. Not many people found it for under £60 and even now is hard to get under that price.
