Your issue was you wanted somewhere to take it back to if it broke. They have stock, you order online and if it breaks you take it to the store for a no quibble refund. Not only that you can use quidco if you want.

So they aren't a game retailer as such why does that matter, their returns would be a hell of a lot easier than any highstreet game store.

Picked mine up for about 57 i think, in store. Even at its RRP of 69.99 its better value, if you take the game out of the equasion (lets say for 40 quid) your only paying 30 for the guitar. In the Rock Band bundle, RRP, 50 guitar, 70 drums and tenner on the mic (just a guess, its only a usb mic). PLUS the game itself!

I do think we have been thoroughly shafted price wise over here, no denying it. It wont stop me getting it though, because i really want it and have had the money put aside for it.
 
Any updates creature?

Mine's still on order placed, but the instruments have been sent for delivery.
 
Same problem, instruments been shipped, game on order. Think I might cancel it and pick it up after work. Dont think I will need to pre-order it but might ring up tomorrow and ask them to put one aside. Never had problems with the company we have all ordered from but ive got a nice 3 day weekend, dont want sit and play the drums without a game, and then having paid for two and send one back, so just gonna cancel.

Yeah same here, would certainly make it easier to get a replacement if anything breaks.
 
My GH3 controller has always been ****, but it's still better than the explorer.

I have plenty to keep me occupied till Friday. PES 06, Madden 07 and Euro 2008, with a dose of GH2/3 and champions legue.
 
I'll do what I did with the GH games and run through the easy career so I can 5* everything then do the same with medium etc etc

Assuming Rock Band works the same as GH in that respect.

Etc etc like you get any further than medium :p

Drums i'm going to start on easy, guitar on medium, singing on expert ;)

Gonna get used to just the drums before I start on the pedal!
 
I really bloody want his now!!! I even ordered some Drum silencers from USA yesterday because I am so excited.

My excitement waned somewhat with GTA IV, but now I really want some drum action. GH2 reminds me of summer (Beers in, windows open, GH2 going AWESOME), now Rock Band will remind me of this summer :)

Ah I didn't realise they stacked, that's good to know. I'll have to have a read through them as I haven't looked. To be honest I don't really care, I just want to play the damn game :p
