What a disgraceful game. Sorry but that was such a poor advertisement for English football and football in general. Ref was appalling, players were appalling .. just appalling .. This sport has degenerated beyond belief. Sad for the neutral IMO.
Explain?

Free-flowoing football, not one-sided, swings between both sides, the woodwork coming in, passion from both sets of players. Drogba was a clown for getting sent off but at least he cared about the game, was bothered enough about it and not just picking up his £££££'s for turning up.

LOL oh dear :o

Great result for us aswell tonight, we get a nice 500k 'cos of the result. :D

Even though its £500k for each title - I read recently its £1.5M for the double
, maybe this is wrong but I certainly read it on a few places:)

edit - early on in the game didnt I hear a stupid comment about only two teams coming back to win the CL final (one if which was Utd in 99 ) but they didnt include Liverpool in 05.....thinking about it I guess they could have mentioned " in normal time" but I dont remember hearing that

why? For crying while watching the winning team lift the trophy.

I'd say it is just a good old case of losing .... and for losing the game for his team.

gotta say I disagree there mate. I respect him because he stood there and watched man u lift the trophy, maybe I'm old fashioned, but it seems like he felt a responsibility as captain to give some acknowledgment to the winning team. As for loosing the game for his team, there is no I...

Even better then. :D

More money for Moyes to go into his piddly £20 mil transfer fund pot.

Then thats the only game of football you have watched in your life. Hardly a shout for a pen from any chelsea fan during the match on here and pretty much not even mentioned in summing up the game.

yep because malouda tripped over his own feet tbh :D

never a penalty in a month of sundays.

Amazing, was a real rollercoaster of a match. First half we were absolutely dominant, and should really have put the game to bed with Tevez's chances- had we got to the end of the half without conceding I'd have been very confident of us grabbing another goal in the second half to end it. As it was, Chelsea absolutely dominated the midfield in the second half and created some great chances, we were very fortunate to stay in the game at times. By the end of the 90 we were regaining our composure but it always seemed like it would be penalties- it's no way to win a match but you'll take it if it's given to you! Thought we were out of it when Terry stepped up and the rest is a blur...

Also - what about when joe cole gets the ball in the pen box, rio sticks his feet in the air - linesman flags but ref doesnt blow.

See if u can find that too Nikebee
