Sky News is putting it across as a serious incident, BBC seems to be downplaying it. :confused:

No, it means a reporter has asked some Exeter local what happened and has got "well, der was like dis huge bang rite, and den anova massive one, and they looked like nail bombs innit, and the shops was blown up and then da pigs came and told us all to move rite, u get me!"

Its probubly a microwave thats blown up in the kitchen and burnt someones hand... which has been massively blown out of proportion as usual

Eyewitness Peter Lacey who was in the restaurant with his wife told BBC News: "There were three explosions. It is my impression they sounded more like gunshots than a bomb, like a lightbulb exploding.

I like the fact that they are urging motorists to stay away from the centre, when the area around the site is completely pedestrianised anyway... and the nearby roads are for busses only...
