Yesterday morning it was pretty mixed but after the way he conducted himself last night the majority want rid of him, going by what's on cfcnet anyway.

neatral on

I thought Chelsea were very unlucky and all the Penalties were decent enough.. Apart from Ronaldo's.. Who said after the game "It's the worst day of my life" after just winning the ECL haha

Slipped or not, they are just a lottery and it could have gone either way.. As Spurs found out to their cost this season.

The game was a credit to the Premier leaugue. It's a shame that we've had 3 English clubs in the last four and 2 in the final yet England won't be present in this summers European cup. So at least we have something to be proud off.

g) Chelsea have won loads of trophies in the last few years while Manu have, er, just won back to back Premierships, 11 Prems in all, 2CLs.....
h) Chelsea pick a negative formation and try and defend a 1-0 lead in big games whereas Utd, er, play nine men behind the ball in the CL final
I) Chelsea have sold their soul to a foreign owner whereas ManU have, er, ....
j) Chelsea is just one big marketing operation aimed at shifting merchandise on a global scale. ManU on the other hand...
k) Chelsea just buy up all the top talent for silly prices, while ManU just rely on homegrown talent and bargain buys like, er, Rooney, ferdinand, Tevez, Ronaldo, Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Carrick....

Mentioned it earlier, but is any other United fan really chuffed with Nani last night? John Terry's penalty, whilst being massively under pressure, wasn't as crucial. Score and win, miss and game still on.

Nani took the 5th penalty knowing that if he missed Chelsea would win, head covered in vaseline and blood dripping down his forehead he put the ball into the far left corner centimetres out of Cechs grasp. Absolutely top man and all is forgiven after the West Ham game.

Neutral here...

Very impressed by the performances of Ashley Cole, Joe Cole and the monster - Michael Essien. All three were up and down the pitch making big tackles in defence, and making things happen going forward.

Disappointed in Joe Cole's attitude towards the ref, as well as the overall performance of Rooney. Anelka didn't give a **** when he came on, which is disappointing knowing the talent he has.

Overall a great match for a neutral to watch - some fantastic moments - both teams had chances to win it and in the end for any team to win outright probably would have been unfair.

Almost forgot the funniest part of the match.
Hargreaves accidently elbowed by Makelele, cue rolling around on floor in apparent agony then jumping to his feet in an amazing instant recovery when the decision didn't go his way:p
Not that Chelsea don't feign injury but the recovery time on that one was incredible:D

Yeh, I mean grasp as in actually grasping the ball and making useful contact rather than patting it into the corner.

I thought VDS got a hand to two - but who really cares that much :D

edit - One bad thing because of the win - Super Cup (albeit only one game) and the World Club Championships - both of which are held at reasonably awkward times if I recall correctly, esp the WCC being a mini tournement)

Paddy Power are refunding £1.2 million in bets because the were doing a money back special whereby certain losing bets would be refunded if Ronaldo scored in the 90 minutes!

First half Essien was taken apart, absolutely completely and inarguably I'd have said. Second half was like watching a different man, I don't know what was said or who said it to him but it obviously had an impact since Ronaldo was largely anonymous from half-time onwards, coinciding with Chelsea's ascendency.

Didn't Cech get a hand to it?

He looked like he was very close to pushing it out entirely but major credit to Nani for stepping up in the first place and scoring.
