Older papers are nostalgic items. For example, read the classifieds. What is in there that wouldn't quite be politically correct these days?

Also, as JBuk said, what are the articles in there? Individual articles could fetch a price, especially for genealogists.

We had a 3 digit phone number until the mid nineties....

As an aside, I could scan the papers for the OP to an OCR PDF if he wanted to send me them, I'd return them obviously.

I kept and still have newspapers from 9/11. And no, I have no idea what for.

I did the exact same thing and I dont know why.
