Humour that irritates you.

That's not true!!
I know for a fact that myself and my work colleges at the youth club certainly don't tolerate it and on many occasions have had serious words with some of the kids and in the worse cases many of them have been banned from the club for set periods of time!!

The problem is that it's a vicious circle and the majority of the kids that are racist/homophobic are like this because their parents/family are bigoted beyond belief!

You should get a better DJ in there, I've heard real good ones can cure racism and homophobia, maybe you're just not playing the right tunes?
Gun rap would be a good place to start.

Lots of my mates hate my humor, but they've learned to live with it. Its normally extremely crude jokes, or jokes that most people would find far too close to the event to be anywhere near tasteful. Also pointing out little children and saying "i would", obviously sarcastic, but people still moan at me for it

lol, I'm the same - not so bad as I used to be though as I've found people really look at you weird. I still find close to the bone stuff funny but I've toned it down to virtually socially acceptable standards the last year.

I think my realisation came when at my fiancees dads stag do (he got re-married) everyone was drunk and standing up to tell a joke. It came to my turn and I stood up and only knowing sick jokes and being put on the spot went with the kid and forest one. Well, I sat down to a roaring silence.. oops.

Luckily my fiancee is similar to me with humor so we can try to out sick joke each other in private. I'm winning at the moment by telling her stories about her grandad in a romper suit, but I won't go any further than that.. Maybe I've already said too much :o

Humor that irritates me is stuff like:

Karen Taylor
Little Miss Joslyn
Lee Evans

Comedians who find the need to swear every other word. Pointless, doesn't make them funnier.

Lee evans, a sweaty igit who doesn't make me laugh, any show that has the same sketches with a slightly different story (Catherine tate, Little Britain etc.) i can see the smarts in the writing, and in their own right they are funny, but only once!.

I do love my family though :P

What do you think of Scallywagga on BBC3? It's similar to the other shows that have been on BBC3 but it's a bit strange, not my type of comedy.

Jimmy Carr is one of my favourite comedians.

Being called a 'jock' is nothing like being called a p***

Being a youth worker I see racism and bigotry all the time from the youngsters and it's very upsetting, it's time the government spent some money on driving out this horrid prejudice!

What a pile of Horse****!

Its only racism when its intolerance of Muslims?

Get a life, no wonder this country is falling apart. All you are doing is promoting self racism and self loathing amongst white people.

This countrys government does nothing to combat racism, just to give the perception that it is not for fear of labelling and self preservation. It's like everything they do, Health and Safety is the same, it's not to protect people, it's to protect themselves

Infact all of their efforts focus so much on the minorities that it increases the problems and divide.

Perhaps a new thread if this topic is to be discussed though.

lol cant beat a good old racist joke!

i hate it when someone laughs at there own rubbish joke, or when people do a fake laugh which there crap at doing
