Just wondering what the main competition for Gran Turismo is on the 360. Bro just bought a PS3 today and GT5 looked stunning, whats available on the 360 to compete with this?

I thought as much. Might have to purchase it!

It's definitely the equivelant to GT5 on 360. You'll even find a few people who say it has better gameplay. It all goes down to personal preference which is evenly divided between the two games for the most part.

I don't know how it compares with GT5 but I can tell you it blows GT4 out the water. One thing dissapointed me about forza 2 and that is no wet tracks. It may well be GRID that will be the competition.

Grid is on the PS3 as well though, so that can compete against it self.

GRID is no competition to Forza/GT. Completely different style of racing game.

GRID is about as unrealistic as you can get. Its not even fun.

PGR4 and Forza2 can be picked up for £25. Both good games.

Physics on Forza are better than GT5p IME

In terms of the general graphical feel, my limited experience with PGR4 has led me to believe that overall it is more impressive that GT5:P. GT5:P puts a lot of focus into certain aspects of its graphics, the cars and the replays being the two main points, whereas PGR4 is consistent across the board with good tracks, cars and surroundings. The tracks in GT5:P are just bland in comparison, but they do the job and if you take into account GT5:Ps rather high resolution (nearing on full 1080p) and high framerate (it aims for 60 doesnt it? with slight dips) this is unsurprising.

In terms of handling, Forza 2 is GT5:Ps competitor, i personally prefer the handling in GT5:P as the braking in forza is a bit strange, but that could just be because i'm used to GT5. Forza looks rather bland, however it manages a solid 60fps which is worthy of merit for a racing game.
