Catch me If You can - with Tom Hanks
The Aviator - Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, and to a lesser extent Kate Beckinsdale
The departed - all star cast

blood diamond - it was just Di caprio - you have a point.

Correct me, but I'm quite sure he's nearly always been with other famous actors - except for Snatch. Not a hollywood blockbuster so doesn't count, and the less said about his accent the better. Also that film shot Turkish (Jason Straham?)to fame and he was as much the lead as Brad Pitt.
 
Again, your asking currently, if currently wouldnt they be one of the greats?

Because Bale is on par with Damon etc infact it all depends on your taste in movies.

And the fact yous are even considering Carrey is beyond me, his best performance has come in Eternal Sunshine, i can't see him getting many more main roles or high-profiled movies due to his movie past, i think he will go on to mainly do voice overs and mediocre family comedy movies.

Tom Cruise has done some great films - his best probably being Magnolia, Vanilla Sky, Rain Man. Not sure if he's as good as the aforementioned actors though. As mentioned, Di Caprio probably doesn't get enough credit for his roles, but I think some people are starting to realise he's not just a pretty boy anymore.

Bubba. I am asking who has been in and held hollywood blockbusters thelselves, now. Not may do so in the future.

Hence whywhen someone suggests a film that there were other famopus actors in it, i say so.

My comment that they might be a "great" in the future, is just a eprsonal comment.


I really don't think there is anyone. Di Caprio and Damon are probably the closest.

Don't forget Liam Neeson was in Batman Returns, further it was the fact it was the new Batman that drew people to the film.
 
Will Smith & Nicolas Cage, both can sell a film on their own, both can really act (Cage less so as time goes on, but he was really good in his first films, probably why hes got an oscar), and I fully expect both will carry on acting for years, which will make them into Legends.

I liked him in Eternal Sunshine, and Number 23. However I would like to see him return to his wacky comedy roles. Isn't her rumoured for Mad Dog Murdoch in The A Team remake?
 
What do people think of Denzel Washington? Always thought he comes across as a pretty good actor?
