Do You Ever Replay Completed Games?

Generally no; I'll finish and sell. If I do there has to be something new on offer. Either points (360) or alternative plot branches. I'm the same with films and books though; with so many 'new' things I can't understand the motivation for having the experience again.

Saying that on the 360 I've completed:

Dead Rising many times as it's almost part of the game
Mass Effect 3 times, on normal, hardcore and insanity and despite my motivation of doing it for points it was also because of the the ability to carry on with the same character and try some different plot paths.
GoW twice (once on insane)
Halo 3 twice (once 3 player coop)
The Darkness (2nd time on hardcore and to pick up things I'd missed)
Orange Box (played it at launch and now again on the 360, if I'm honest I didn't really enjoy the whole experience)

I did complete Doom, Doom 2 and Duke Nukem countless times where I was a nipper though.

I think it's also why I generally finish games I've started as I know if I walk away I'll never come back.
 
Half Life 2,
Final Fantasy X,
Kingdom Hearts 1,
Mass Effect,
Gears of War,
Shenmue 1 and 2, (like played through these like 10 times XD)
Metal Gear Solid 2
Fable (then Lost Chapters)
Fahrenheit (once was censored, second was the uncensored version)


I think thats all.. some games I just love enough to play through again. (not often though)

the game has to be exceptional for me to replay it

such as

Metal gear solid
Mafia

whearas some games are can't even force myself to play the first time round

such as

Mass Effect

I'm on my second play through after completing it a few days ago, trying to get all the treasures and all the medals & rewards :)

Generally there's not many games I play through more than once unless it has significant replay value, including bonuses which are unlocked by completing the game to make the second, third etc play through different - MGS on the Gamecube is a good example (and Uncharted obviously :)). It's things like rewards & achievements that keep me replaying games.

As far as selling games, I tend to sell them on if I don't particularly enjoy the game or don't plan on playing it for a long while - I'm am more likely to sell a game early on for a higher price than leaving it gathering dust for a lower price later on - I can re-buy later on the 2nd hand market if I really fancy playing it again :)
 
I've completed Uncharted on Easy, normal and hard.

I've completed MGS2 about 7 times
I've completed MGS3 on all difficulties including European Extreme, and then did speed runs on Normal for another 30 times.

Replayed hitman 2 and 3, multiple times and bought them on PC.
Replayed GTA:SA, completed it 4 times 100%. Twice on PS2 and twice on PC.
 
I have only completed 5 games in the past 3 years (bioshock, halo 3, brawl, mario kart, zelda) yet alone replay any! I play multiplayer far more than single player though.
 
I'm an MGS Fanatic and so I've completed all three of them so many times I can't believe it :p

I've replayed Hitman Blood Money 3 times, and FEAR twice...

Oh and I've probably completed FF8 about 3 or 4 times also :)
 
I also forgot to mention I completed Call of Duty 4 on Normal and then on Hard and continued by doing a lot of the missions on Veteran also.
 
I play games again if they are good enough, although I normally like to leave them for a while before going through them again.

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are:-

Populous The Beginning - 7 times
Half-Life - Three times
Half-Life 2 - twice
HL2 Episode 1 - twice
HL2 Episode 2 - twice
Portal - twice
FarCry - twice
GTA III - twice
GTA VC - twice
GTA SA - twice

Games I plan on completing again in the near future are Uncharted, COD4 & GTA IV
 
Oh yeah GTASA..

Completed it.. once before it came out, again when it came out, then on the xbox.. then on the pc!

so thats 4 times ;)
 
I've done it a few times my biggest weaknesses have been...

FFVII - 4 Times
KOTOR - About 8 times lol
Mass Effect - I think I was on my 5th play through when got sick of it.

Okay well if your going to be picky :p I've played the 3 main games - but I've also completed the others. (I.e. VR Training etc.) I've never played the older games though (I mean the really old ones :p) They look boring though :p

Oh and I just remembered - I've completed Fahrenheit twice also :D What a great game :)
 
Half Life I've done a couple times, might go back to it on Source :)

MGS I've completed 3 or 4 times, done all the possible endings.

Portal - been through that 3 times at least. Can't do the advanced maps tho :(

Tomb Raider - at least a couple times, same with FFVII, Resi Evil and a few other PSX classics.

Only thing apart from Portal that's had me back recently is CoD 4 as I was gagging for some singleplayer FPS for some reason. Got Bioshock now so I'm sorted :D
 
halo: combat evolved, over and over and over and over and over and over again, i would still happily stick that in and give it another run through right now! :D

bout the only one though, vice city used to get played a fair bit.
 
hl2,company of heroes+expansion,far cry,c+c generals and c+c tiberium wars and ground control 2 started them on normal then when id done that did them again on hardest levels.
