It really helped me with a couple of the songs on hard. Go with the flow being one of them.

I just did the coin mod I posted a few pages back on my EL drums. They are much more sensitive now, and I am missing much fewer notes which is really nice. I was getting annoyed with missed notes purely because the drums hadn't registered my hit.
Just used 1p's?
I think its in your mind mate, I had exactly the same feeling as did wyrdo. I went through the tracks and a couple of skill levels now when I go back I dont have that problem.
Also I still find myself hitting the top edge of green from time to time and sometimes think they aren't registering.
Only way to be sure is video it yourself and watch it back you will see how often your off target.
Sometimes when i'm not at a high enough angle I'm also hitting the drum too flat so my stich although hitting the middle the side takes some of the impact.

Yeah, and some electrical tape.
The coin mod has definitely made it more sensitive. However I think I also have the drums too high as I often hit it flat as well.
I am glad I did this coin thing though.
Thats probably your problem, I switch from my desk chair to a breakfast bar stool as it goes much higher and I get more angle. It made a huge difference to me. I just had a few games and couldn't be bothered to get the stool and was back hitting flat again.

If I like it enough to buy, I might pick up the drums at some point.
To be honest you aint gonna know how good it is from just the solus. I hate the guitar solo. When you play two guitars in Tour you reallise how much effort they put into splitting the songs down for each instrument.
You also wont know from the solus just how good the drums are. If you even remotely like the tracks buy the drums.

i got this game yesterday along with a gibson les paul , i dont know if its me but the neck of my gibson does not move around at all , i played with a gibson last christmas on gh3 and the neck moved a bit when pulling on it , my new one has no movement at all?

I'm upto GG&HT on medium on the drums. Passed everyone no problem so far but this is giving me a slight headache. I've tried it 3 times now and get about 60% of the way through and then fail, it is such a long song. Finished about 25-30 songs on expert on the guitar so far, again without any trouble and 5*ing most of them.
Have people been running through the bonus tours? Are they a lot harder?

i find that you have to hit the notes a lot more accurate compared to guitar hero ?
