I can drive for another 3 weeks until i go to court..i know what to say and stuff tho and im gonna talk to a soliciter tomoz so if a year is the minimun it should be that.

a years ban and my insurance is gonna be like double and i just got this car as well which i love. :(:mad:

Rarely have I seen such a complete and utter **** on these forums.
 
Sadly no sympathy. As soon as I saw the 'drink' bit I didn't care about any defense you may have had.

Several people I know have been seriously hurt because of drink drivers.

And personally I think 1 year ban is not enough.

Me too. Let the major flaming begin! I expect this is going to be the worst i've even seen on this forum, most if not all frequent visitors to Motors hate people without insurance and especially drunk drivers.

On a serious note, why did you do it? Someone (american iirc) lost his girlfriend/fiance due to drink driving iirc. Doesn't that make you realise the damage you could have caused? Thank god the police caught you before you crashed and injured or killed anybody.

no, i really was gonna sort that out. but i was covered anyway as long as i said i was test driving it..but i didnt say that:o

Either way it sounds like you have no idea how to get insurance or even buy a car so, i may actually be glad you'r not driving.

Good luck trying to rent any kind of car for the next 10 years or so!

No sympathy from me, glad you're banned and off the road. I also expect you're insurance will more than double, I know someones insurance went from £600 a year to over £2000 a year after a drink driving ban.
 
No sympathy. The last drunk driver I met was when he embedded his saxo vtr into the front end of my mini and then fled the scene.

Yeah he was caught and banned.

i was told i would be covered, my mate has been done with that before but if u are a trader u are insured on any car.

look i wish i was making this up. i can post a pic of the charged offenses if u want.

Under no circumstances where you insured and if they found the v5 with your signature on it,. They would have done you for perverting the course of justice. which they had the fine and ban would have risen.
 
Well whatever you say no one is going to have any sympathy for you. So your sitting there drunk in charge of a vehicle. So he didn't see you driving so didn't do you for it. Many traders do test drives at night then with drunks or were you tanked up during the daytime? Either you own the car or you don't the police will find out. If you do then they will stick you on for no insurance aswell and another 6 points and take the car and probably crush it - cos you aint gonna be insuring it anytime soon when your banned. Might teach you a lesson then eh!

So to summarise - you are a grade A muppet. Take the ban , fine etc and get yourself a bus pass and hope you don't have a job requiring driving or want one anytime soon.

what? i hadnt registed the car in my name. all i had done was pay him in cash. if i said it wasnt my car i would have been ok on the insurance.
