Fifa or Pro Evo?

I own a PS3 and im wondering...

What is the better football game, Fifa 08 or Pro Evo 08?

Going to buy it on Friday for a bit of 2 player action!

Unless you won't be online, Fifa. PES sucks online but is great offline.

as someone who is (was now I suppose) a lifelong PES fan, make sure you give FIFA 08 a fair bit of playtime before you dismiss it, I HATED fifa until I began to understand how to play it

Pretty much echoing the others here, don't bother with the latest Pro Evo, id doesnt live up to its predecessors.

Haven't played Fifa for a good few years now so i cant comment on that.

This year might be the first year i switch back to Fifa

But yes, Fifa is very good this year.

If your not too bothered about the lack of clubs, definately pick up EURO 2008 as well as it's got a heck of a lot of improvements over Fifa 08 and is a nice insight into what we can expect for Fifa 09

It is quite a turnaround, but that just shows, people with common sense will go where the quality is.

My problem with FIFA was always that it just wasn't a good game. The high value presentation was never enough to fool me into thinking otherwise.

Aye, I was one of them. I detested FIFA with a passion after FIFA: WC 98, took them 10 years to bring out a decent title. Quite mad that! Look forward to every FIFA title now, Euro 2008 is better than 08 in my opinion.

Pro Evo for me. Much more fun than FIFA in my opinion. Much more. I will admit for not owning it for very long and whilst the graphics, music and presentation are very nice the gameplay is slow and unexciting.

Well they had no competition until PES came along.

The best one for me was the first one on the PS2.
