Probably not much help but 30s in it sounds rather like something Kraftwerk would do, cool video though.
No dude, I know the overall theme of the song is Singing in the Rain by Gene Kelly, but the bit that first comes into the song at around 30 seconds is the tune I'm after.

30 seconds into the video, that tune that comes in, I swear I've heard it before. Does anyone else know if this is a sample from a complete song? Possibly an 80s song or something?

No, he knows its a reworking of Singing In The Rain, I think that's reasonably obvious. The bass line that comes in at around 30 seconds is reminiscent of another song. Has anyone actually read this thread properly or are they just hitting reply without thinking.
