No dude, I know the overall theme of the song is Singing in the Rain by Gene Kelly, but the bit that first comes into the song at around 30 seconds is the tune I'm after. :)
 
Cant say i have heard that anywhere else.. only in this remix of singing in the rain.

Hmm, it's familiar to me too, but it could just be one of those familiar sounding riffs :confused:
 
yup was in the golf add and the section he is reffering to in OP has been in other ads/tv etc so is probably why he recognises it

Argh... it's not the same but it reminds me of something too, definitely 80's and it's gonna do my head in now until I remember it
