personally always had a soft spot for croatia.

think they play decent football, they beat england twice, they have a kit like a table cloth and thats good enough for me.

my moneys on them at 13-1 anyway.

They will be without Eduardo, they really suffer up front without him. You would still back them to get through their group though. Personally I've put a bit of cash on France. I also think Germany will be there or there about.

One for the Lads. Romania won it for me.

Turkey for me. :)

Having just watched the first half of Spain vs USA I must say it reminded me of Arsenal through their bad patch recently, plenty of possession, but not enough penetration. Which is worrying with Torres up front, he didn't look like he was up to much at all. However, Sergio Ramos looks absolutely awesome.

This thread seems to be liverpool fans voting for spain and man utd fans voting for portugal ?

Spain for me. Really hope they win it, they're going to be great to watch with all the young talent in their squad.

Lets hope some of our boys do some fancy spanish talking to the other potential recruits ;)

I think Portugal will win, domestic games have nothing to do with Euro for me. My belief in Portugal winning isnt very strong though, allot of teams have a good shout this year and wouldnt be suprised at a few other outcomes.

The fact that England aren't in it only heightens the interest for me. I hate the constant over-hyping from the media and the players.

Although I have to admit I'm disappointed I won't get to see the usual excitement as England beat some mediocre teams in the group stage, a star player come out and say we can win it this year, then a complete collapse once an opponent of any decent level is faced.

Really looking forward to it now, football pretty much everyday for the next 3 weeks, can't complain. Just wish games were on in the day instead of in the evening.
