I think it's level 40 before you can claim the free mounts though I don't know how much they cost.
At the moment I'm getting a bit bored of the game as the quests seem to be drying up (Cimmarian Guardian level 27) so I think I'll be leaving it for a while until they release the new quest content for the 30-40 level range.
you must be looking in the wrong place, there are so many quests available.
Currently lvl 38 and no grinding, quests all the way.
Connals valley, zetala wildlands and khoseph (quest givers are a little scattered here but there are lots) have loads, my quest log is full and currently chopping through the pyramids in khoseph.
at lvl 38 more quests open up for the fields of the dead, my guildies tell me it's 50-60 that are the worst
Shouldn't really be running out of quests until you get to about level 50 from what I hear.
there are plenty of quests, i'm nearly 51 and the only grinding i've been doing is to collect leather. at 45 i was in fields of the dead and the noble district, almost heading into egliopian (sp) mountains.
it's around 2g for a horse (you have to buy it and learn to ride it apparently), you get your rhino at 40, it's an item in your inventory which you click on to spawn. i believe it can be used across characters.
level 45 here and quests are few and far between tbh. Seems after 45 a lot more grinding is involved then previous levels (going off what other people have said as well).

At 40, you have two main areas to level/quest. Noble District in Old Tarantia, and Field of the Dead - you can easily get to 50 with all the quests in these areas. You obviously haven't been to one or the other. It's around 51-55 that quests become a little more scarce, and a little grinding is required. But I'm 60 and have had to spend rarely any time focussed on grinding. Not compared to, let's say, WoW or FFXI (which is all grinding).
How's that work? I spent levels 20-31 in Conalls Valley and never once ran out of quests or had to leave there to get one. I'm now in Wild Lands and there's plenty of quests, pretty sure it'll take me nearly all the way to 40.
Cleared both and at the moment I have probably around 4 quests to do in each area. It doesn't help that some of the quests in the noble district are bugged either. Technically there are quests but even so, more grinding is required then in previous levels when i could have like 8 quests going at all times. I don't really have a problem with grinding as im used to it from previous MMO's but after 40-50 levels of having non-stop quests its made me lazy
