Devil May Cry 4 Benchmark, DX9 and 10.

Now try DX10 with the same settings...

It would appear that SLi's not working properly in DX10 mode.

I get very similar scores:

I notice the same when i tested it with my SLI setup...

Plus when SLI working properly in games my system normally draws around 520watts...but in this benckmark my system only drawing 410watts

I got above 100fps on every test at high res, I will try to get a ss

Seems everyone else has too so I wont bother, I cant do dx10 but does it actually look any better?

Bonjour, try with your dual GT's DX 9.0c with everything max c16Q msaa etc... and see what you get please^^
I have dual GTX's and with all my PC settings @ stock speeds I get an A rank @ 1900*1200 with all eye candy maxxed, now when I lower my msaa etc, I tend to get less fps... these GTX's seem to strive on quality picture. Also what OS are people using? I'm using Vistax64, does it work any better on ye olde XP?

How much of a difference is there between XP and Vista in DMC 4? FPS wise...

I'm using Vista64.

I'll run the benchmark again with c16Q when I get home from work and let you know how it goes.

No it's not .

A bigger resolution would help but the GPU is the most important factor here. Don't get me started on that debate again as a 2.8Ghz+ dual core AMD CPU is just fine .

For some reason I cant run DX10 above 1280x1024

4850 Crossfire, 1920x1080 DX10 8xAA every setting at maximum quality.

Well, it's playable. Edit: Well, what would be considered playable, of course it's just a benchmark. >>

Now ran with the same settings in Windows XP DX9

Looks like Scene 4 performs better with DX10 for some reason but overall very similar performance between DX9 and DX10, naff all image difference either.
