Is not that, surely if the ww2 has been done to death, then how many time can I play the battle of Stalingrad or assault Berlin.

Edit: at least with the American campaign you are getting a change of theatre, they could have done this with the other campaign as well.

Seriously though, didnt they listen to players who were sick and tired of WW2?? Didnt they see the massive revenue generated from the first non-WW2 COD??
 
If it's done right, it'll be a good game.

However, the genre is so overcooked now it will have to be something special before I look at it.
 
Ideally I would have liked to see the bad points of COD 4 ironed out, co-op, split screen and vehicles introduced like in 3. would have been immense unfortunately I'm not looking forward to this one as much :(
 
Be nice if they finally busted out of the linear gameplay the cod series has. I remember seeing one of the first vids of the desert mission you rapell out of the blackhawk and go down a street only to see somone trotting across with barbed wire to block your way.
 
Was really hoping on an expanded tour set in out time, why is it we have had numerous WW2 versions of the same game but they cant give us a few chapters set in todays warfare, surly this was a BIG selling point of COD4?, with us seeing so much military action on the news it was clear to see how lifelike the game could be in some of the scenes.
