That's hardly the same, kind of depends how long your parents have lived in the country too (Which could be generations, black or white). Zidane holds dual citizenship with France and Algeria, which qualifies him for the thread. (Unless there's a reason why every other player already mentioned does, yet Zidane doesn't?)

Born in Canada wasnt he??....Calgary Alberta to be exact.
Again, dual citizenship is mentioned in the OP, country of birth is not. The only difference is that Zidane has had dual citizenship since birth.
But yes, if we're talking players switching nations through tenuous links, then I agree Zidane does not apply.

He's lived in Germany since two years old and is a German Citizen (I think so anyway, he could be if he wanted to) so I hardly think he's been headhunted, he came through German youth/club teams etc.
