Yeah..That's the sort of thing I'd do normally but to be honest I can't be bothered with the hassle of doing stuff this time round. I don't think the 640MB GTS cards sell quite as well as the newer g92 versions either (understandably).

Yeah I'm tempted to sell my GTS G92 but I have only just fitted a water loop to it so I can't do with the hassle atm. Busy life.:(

Normally I would shuffle just to keep up with things and keep upgrading prices small.
 
Cyber-Mav, you've had enough last warnings now, you can either step away from the GC forum for a while and come back with a better attitude or your access to it will be removed permanently so it's your choice, either way it's your last opportunity to stop winding people up.
I would also suggest that one or two others just get on the thread from here on in too:)
 
Johnny are OCUK really going to have drop the 9800GTX to a equiv price of $199 and sell the new 9800GTX+ for equiv to $229 :)

Edit, I forgot about 512MB Ram on a 256bit bus. :(

i dont think its exactly right placing all the blame on me for this one. but this thread i will take a step away from since its just become a mess now.
 
Surely though, he is allowed to have his opinion? He isnt personally attacking anyone - he is just having a heated discussion with some people who feel just as passionately about the subject, albeit with opposing opinions.

He is backing up all his opinions with benchmark charts, that he believes verify what he believes.

It went past that point but the posts have been deleted now. He said a few untrue things about me and another member, then posted after my reply that he had got it wrong about me and just thought I was one of the ones saying these things at the time. It's all OK, it was a misunderstanding but obviously I wasn't happy when reading things that I had meant to have said that never happened.

Let's move on from this. No one is banned, no one is suspended. The threads still open and there's no ill feelings.
 
I haven't blamed him alone as you can tell if you read my post, it's always the same old faces but Mav should know better than to get involved as he's been warned on countless occasions and I strongly suggest some employ the ignore function as that'd help solve a few things.
That's the last of it in this thread and if anyone feels they need to discuss it further they can mail me:)
 
I know what was said by who and when it was said, and anyone with half a brain could go and use the search function to find any post but I ain't really interested TBH.

Well if the9800GTX+ is cheaper than a 4870 and performs better.... though I doubt it :p
 
Anyone can post what they like as long as it is within the rules, just some things verge on trolling unfortunately.

Just keep it civil. :)
